Cafe 143 Crew ( Segment ) : One More Sun

Hi , today I'm here blogging in English , because I'm got make segment blog " cafe 143 crew  " with interview one local talent young music band , normally this band is looking with a bright future in music industry about it . Finally I'm got this chance to make interview with this band in my blog segment here , before I'm start this blog segment , I'm here want intro this band is called One More Sun , this name looking so cool and nice . So I'm is a blogger at here also supporting this local band in the music industry and hope them can be go far away in they journey , so im here want straight to the point in this blog segment with interview this band at here , I'm got a bit picture about this band too . So let's be enjoyed in this interview about me and one more sun .......

lanseikong : hi , One more sun ..... how about this all members in this few day ? How about this band activity ?

one more sun : Hi , we are all doing very well. In these 2 days, we played open mics at NOOK Cafe and Biru Biru Cafe, as well as an event called WIP 6.0 Story Telling . 

lanseikong : actually this band from where ? Have a plan want release this band album ?

one more sun : We are all from Kota Kinabalu. Definitely yes in the future, but right now we are first focusing on building our fanbase and song writing. 

lanseikong : how many time this oms band get invited for jam event ?

one more sun : This will be our second time.

lanseikong : this all members still study or working ?


one more sun : some  members are still studying but most of us are both working and studying.


lanseikong : normally what meaning " one more sun " in this band ?

one more sun : This name is actually taken from a lyric of a song by the band The Killers. For me, it is a very hopeful and inspiring choice of words. " Sun " is a very simple 3 letter word but it's very powerful, because we consider the sun to be the source of life for all living things. Some religions also worship the sun as a god, and the sun has a lifespan of 9 billion years.


The message of our name is that even when your world is dark ( facing problems like anxiety, feeling suicidal and hopeless , depression, peer pressure ) you can be the sun ( life, joy, hope, reason ) in somebody else's sky. Because imagine if we add one more little sun inside everyone each day ( spread kindness, share, grow, be faithful and hopeful ), the world will shine so much brighter.

lanseikong : when this band since it ?

 One more sun : This started since 2018 but we only considered to be One More Sun in 2020.

lanseikong : what genre will b play by this band ? Rock ? Pop rock ? indie ?

one more sun : We most play pop rock but we are not limited to sticking or labeling ourselves as a specific genre. So that means we can play punk, jazz, bossa nova or hip hop in any type of show. Our genre is basically " music ". 

lanseikong : I'm see all members in this band hv talent n looking great too . Hv your all agreed about my opinion ?


one more sun : Yes ... we agree, we are still very young, handsome and single.

lanseikong : if 1 day this band get a chance for make mini concert ? Hw about this all members feel it ?

one more sun : If one day that happens, we will definitely be excited to do it, and it will definitely be awesome. 


lanseikong : this april got jam event . About this band will b make performance in this event ? I'm also excited want to see this band performance too .... Hehe


One more sun : Yes , we will be performing at the next JAM which is on the 4th and 5th of April 2020 at Riverson The Walk. We will be brining some new and exciting songs for our audience!
